All in all, this is a pretty straight forward issue and the plot moves forward a bit. The mystery of Kamala Khan is intriguing and The Inventor's twisted scheme with the senior citizens has yet to be revealed. There wasn't as much fun to be had in this issue, as opposed to the last, but there's enough here to warrant a buy for the next one. Read Full Review

A transitional issue in an interesting study of what Jersey City would be like if there was no Kamala Khan moonlighting as Ms. Marvel. Pieces are falling into place to create the ultimate climax, but for now, the issue turns into a lot of talking heads that seem to whip about at lightspeed to get to the action. Read Full Review

Second part of a very fun but silly story. Incredible Story I have to say, Nonsense but in the fun way. I want more of this kind of story. That genius, really. I'm in love again with Ms.Marvel, it's a perfect birthday gift. Cover - Fun, nice & well related to the inside. 2/2 Writing - I love Wilson when she do this kind of story 3/3 Arts - The arts is good & fun. The part in the dark is really nice. But I want more backward than that now ^^ 2.5/3 Feelings - I will take the following issue without doubt. 2/2

It is a strange direction that this story is taking, but I am enjoying it. Kamala has been missing from the title as her supporting cast try to carry on for her. There is mystery both in why she is gone and few concerned, as well as how her former villain thought dead has returned. With such a strong cast of characters it is an interesting idea to make them the focus. It gives characters like Red Dagger who are still being built a time to grow. Characters like Mike and Zoe also get to show new sides. If you enjoy the exploits of Kamala you should find a lot to love in this issue as well.

Zoe Zimmer is our full-time protagonist as she takes the lead on investigating the Inventor's return. Naftali's still working the "MIA Kamala" case, but Zoe's efforts prove that Ms. Marvel's supporting cast is capable of carrying an independent story on its own. I really love this script; unfortunately, Nico Leon is having an off month with the art. He pivots too wildly from careful detail to emoji-style sketchiness. When he's working hard he's still creating great visuals, though; the overall effect here is certainly not disappointing.
