Sep 29, 2016Though the plot of Kamala staging a fake crime with Canadian ninjas in order to open Basic Becky and Carol Danvers' eyes to the dangers of predictive justice would be enough to make this issue a good one, G. Willow Wilson pushes it into great territory with plenty of emotional fallout from the earlier issues. Read Full Review

Oct 03, 2016Ms. Marvel has been an amazing title since it launched 2 years ago, and this Civil War II tie-in maintained that same level of quality, even though the tone of it was somewhat a departure from the previous issues. Oct 03, 2016Despite dealing with Civil War II, Ms. Marvel has managed togive us one of the best issues that it's ever had. It has the fun that regularreaders love but the team was smart enough to give the serious moments theirdue and treat them as they should be treated. The serious moments weren'tcheapened and the fun moments weren't weighed down. With this issue, Ms. Marvelmay be in the running for my favorite book at the moment. Read Full Review

The artwork blends a bunch of action and emotion in one comic, and it suits the story wonderfully. Civil War II has been shaky, but Kamala's perspective makes it all seem worth it Read Full Review

Sep 29, 2016It's strange when a tie-in to a major event comic examines the main theme of that event better than the main series itself. Yet that's exactly what Ms. Marvel's latest Civil War II tie-in issue accomplishes. Read Full Review

Oct 01, 2016G. Willow Wilson is still writing a great comic, but the storyline she picked out for the Civil War II tie-in was just confusing enough that it unbalanced the truly meaningful emotional drama found within. Read Full Review
