Monkeys Fighting Robots - Brandon J. Griffin
Nov 10, 2017Following the Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood run is no easy task. Moon Knight's Marvel Legacy debut proves that Bemis and company are not only up for the challenge, but could possibly raise the bar even higher. This is a must-read book for Moon Knight fans, Marvel fans, and comic book fans in general. Read Full Review

Oct 29, 2017This book rocks and promises a great new direction for Moon Knight. Despite an at-times dragging pace, #188 kept me hooked throughout the runtime and effortlessly earns its recommendation. Check this one out when its released. Its easily worth your time. Read Full Review

Nov 09, 2017This series is a departure from recent Moon Knight comics in many ways, but it already has a strong hook even without focusing on the title character. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson
Nov 10, 2017Moon Knight #188 introduces a new, terrifying villain into Moon Knight's rogues' gallery. While Marc Spector himself does not show up, we do get a fully fleshed-out villain in Moon Knight #188. The art and story are a great departure from the last series, which is welcome, and I am glad that the creative team is trying something new and different with Moon Knight. Plus, I cannot be too upset that Moon Knight was not in this issue, as we are getting double Moon Knight this month: Moon Knight #189 is due out on November 29th! Read Full Review

Nov 08, 2017Though not exactly the kind of story I expected, Max Bemis, Jacen Burrows, and Mat Lopes have tapped into a dark new vein of stories for Khonshu's avatar, one that I hope keep paying out throughout his new return to store shelves. Read Full Review

Nov 13, 2017What an introduction to this series! I have to say that it's a good read despite the titular character's absence. The art was very well done (and what a beautiful cover!). I feel confident in saying we can look forward to a good looking book going forward. We get a very good introduction to what I expect to be a major villain going forward and I can't wait to continue the ride. Read Full Review

Nov 08, 2017It's okay, but probably takes too long to get where it's going. Could have used a B-plot to break up some of the monotony of a mental issue playing out in a visual medium. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Elias Rosner
Nov 10, 2017A very well drawn but over-narrated and thinly characterized issue that fails as an introductory issue. This should have been the start of at least the second arc. Read Full Review

Nov 13, 2017I pray that Bemis pulls a total 180 in the next issue and surprises the hell out of me by upping the stakes and throwing a few curveballs in the characterization. But based on this script, I cannot find a reason to believe otherwise. This story seems D.O.A. I hope he proves me wrong. Read Full Review
