Bottom Line: I did not expect so much fun coupled with such well-done characterizations in a "done-in-one" filler book. Every page of this issue is a testament to what makes this book so endearing and loveable. Read Full Review

    Comic Crusaders - Kevin Given

As with all well done antagonists we can see the motivation behind this ones actions. His kind has been hunted for centuries and he's trying to get a little pay back for the wrongs he sees as being done to the creatures that he can relate to. One of the ways he sees fit to seek revenge is to increase the nicotine addiction among humans. For nicotine has been wreaking havoc on his kind for centuries. Marvel has a long history of PSA comics, and this Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur issue joins it. Unfortunately, there is zero subtlety to it with the issue practically screaming that smoking is bad. Read Full Review

Lunella fills a PSA obligation with this anti-smoking one-shot. A remarkable amount of creative horsepower goes into this, and the result is surprisingly enjoyable. The preachiness goes over-the-top toward the end, but prior to that, there are excellent links to neonicotinoid pesticides killing bees, a perfectly-chosen villain, and some notably excellent art. This is the best Devil Dinosaur's looked in a long while - I might be biased because I so love seeing him wearing t-rex-sized lab goggles.
