Gwenpool attacks MODOK but then uses her meta-narrative powers to help him when she realizes he's a solo protagonist undergoing character growth. Good art, great humor. Decent story. I'm not a fan of the final twist, but I don't need to love the destination when the journey is this solid.

But when Gwen learns the truth of his predicament, Gwen rewrites the comic book and prevents his death. Discovering the location of the house from his visions, MODOK m eets a man known as the Founder who reveals himself to be Alvin Tarleton, MODOK’s father! The humanization of MODOK, so truly heartwarming. Who would have thought? The overall story is great and I love this book. I’m just not a fan of Gwenpool and her ability to go back and rewrite the comic book.
