M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games #2 is a fantastic second issue that has me wanting to read the third right now. I laughed out loud multiple times. Really laugh out loud. This was yet another great issue. I liked last issue a little more though, because we got some really good action sequences with M.O.D.O.K. ripping though a bunch of A.I.M. guys, but with this issue most of the fighting happens off panel and with all the villains that make an appearance in this issue it left me a little disappointed. This issue even without the fight scenes was still fun, interesting, energetic, and colorful. Read Full Review

Having M.O.D.O.K. team up with Tony Stark to sneak into a villain's convention winds up being just as fun as you'd expect, but M.O.D.O.K.'s inner turmoil about the memories of his family gives the book a surprising amount of depth. Read Full Review

MODOK and Tony (inexplicably) team up to crash the supervillain tech expo where Monica is auctioning off the bit of Starktech they need to fix MODOK's brain. This plot is driven entirely by the Rule of Funny -- and that's entirely OK when the humor is this good. This is a real blast of a silly read.

In order to repair his software, Tony and MODOK must re-acquire a stolen device being auctioned off at the Criminal Technology Show. Disguised as Arnim Zola and a Hydra soldier, the pair buy their way into the expo. However, after suffering another vision, MODOK lashes out causing their cover to be blown. Narrowly escaping defeat, Stark repairs MODOK’s hardware and instructs him that the answers he seek may be found at the site of his original transformation from George Tarleton into MODOK. Elsewhere, Monica enlists the aid of Gwenpool to kill MODOK. This is the Ironman/MODOK team-up book I never knew I always wanted. So far I love everything about this series. The artwork is great and the writing has me seriously interested in what’s going on. The banter between MODOK and Tony is hilarious. I have a feeling once we discover the true nature of the family visions it’s going to be a real emotional scene of love and loss. Who knew MODOK would hit me right in the feels? This was a fun issue. I have some problems with how Tony Stark is written, but nothing major. The last page reveal bothers me. Gwenpool better not just be Deadpool next issue.
