Black Nerd Problems - Khadjiah Johnson
Sep 16, 2018The artistry this time was so subtle, and I appreciate it. In past issues, you can see the colors being highlighted, and the playfulness pushing out even in moments of seriousness. This time I appreciated that I can enjoy the colors but also feel the somberness and tension as if I was in a movie. In digital mediums, we often see characters and colors fading, but here we see the colors hug each other. It's hard to look at the art and not feel like you're encompassed in the same room. Hard to not notice the same shifts in emotion and time period. I hope to see this subtlety rise and fall in future issues and take this comic to new heights. Read Full Review

Sep 20, 2018Too many cooks spoil the broth. A hodgepodge rushed fill in issue with distracting art that was far too disjointed compared to the smooth and satisfying work of the previous two issues, with a story that didn't cover all the bases and so the game was lost on me. Read Full Review

The "Trial of the Exiles" turns out to be a transparent excuse to recap origins, expand the roster, and restart the adventure. The roster additions are welcome, the recaps are redundant, and the ease with which the Exiles escape is anticlimactic. This issue seems to have fallen into a bad crack: too much of a re-introduction for regular readers, but not compelling enough for new readers. Another turn on the artist carousel doesn't do this issue any favors, either. It's funny/tragic that no two artists can agree on how to draw Wolvie.

When you miss the opportunity to doing a great issue presenting the new character. But as a fan of TJ I'm pissed about the fact they ahmed didn't even take a time to show her story. And the watcher look as dumb as the guardian of DC comics in their. Damn they seem too like them. Skip this issue if you don't want regret riding it (At least Betty is in Valkyrie life once more). Please ditch wolvie he is unbearable Cover - Really nice & related 2/2 Writer - I'm suffering enough, just made a good story. Is that too much to ask, you deed with the story with Carter/Captain america. 1/3 Arts - Don't like the art. 1/3 Feeling - Damn what a mess ! 0/2
