May 27, 2026Doomquest #1 launches with the scale and confidence of a true Marvel event, delivering a larger-than-life Doctor Doom story fueled by Ryan North’s sharp characterization and Francesco Mobili’s stunning visuals. The issue balances blockbuster superhero action with intriguing time travel mysteries, all while fully embracing Doom’s ego, brilliance, and obsession with Reed Richards. While the story currently feels detached from ongoing Marvel continuity, the ambitious setup and striking cliffhanger make this one of the strongest Doom-focused debuts in years. Read Full Review

May 27, 2026Doomquest #1 is a fun first issue. It’s very Doctor Doom. After the big action of One World Under Doom and its heavy themes, it’s fun to simply play Doom in a more recognizable way with his smaller, standard arrogance and pettiness. The creative team delivers a solid first issue, and Doomquest #1 kicks off a creative series with a lot of promise. Read Full Review

May 27, 2026Doomquest #1 is everything you’d expect from a book by this creative team and that’s a good thing. North isn’t trying to rewrite who Doom is but that’s okay because he writes a fantastic rendition of the villain. Mobili and D’Armata make for an outstanding art team, their work bringing the story to life. This is a perfect comic for both old Doom fans and any new ones looking to give him a try before his MCU debut. Read Full Review

He calls it optimizing history, but all these changes must happen simultaneously.
Doctor Doom is determined to prove to everyone that he can create a time machine capable of changing all the moments in Latveria's failures. To do this, he creates the Doom Engine.
After months of secretly constructing this device, Doctor Doom activates the Doom Engine, but the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantast more+ Like • Comment
