(Cover Date: July, 1969) Summary: Foggy comforts Karen after they learn that Matt was killed in a plane crash. Matt recalls how he faked his death to keep Starr Saxon from blackmailing him. Mr. Fear challenges DD to meet him at the Central Park Zoo. Fear scoops up DD on his flying platform & attempts to drop him in the polar bear pen. DD escapes & grapples Fear's platform. Fear points his finger at DD, causing him to become afraid, & he falls to the ground. Fear vanishes, & DD is left ashamed for his display of cowardice.
