  What a bizarre read. Daredevil gets in a fight with a random thug at the start of this issue and this has to be some of the worst banter I've seen with the character. Not only is it very silly and unrealistic, there's even a mild touch of dated ableism to it. Additionally the fight choreography isn't that great and I didn't find this comic that engaging or exciting. Eventually the fight with the goons ends and Daredevil has a very underwhelming encounter with returning villain The Ringmaster. I normally quite like Conway as a writer but this comic felt pretty bad on the whole, though Foggy and Matt at least have a solid conversation at some point which makes up for things a bit. I feel like the Ringmaster and the Circus of Crime wer e at least somewhat fun, too, especially since we actually get to see a bit of their show. However, their scheme is kind of silly, even by the standards of this time, and the comic basically just doesn't have much of a proper ending at all. At least the art is well done even if Conway doesn't give Don Heck much in terms of interesting stuff to draw. Additionally, there's some technical choices with how the art flows throughout the page that seem way off to me. more
