Carnage #11 picks up where it left off with Carnage having everything it could want, and Kenneth Neely trying to convince Cletus Kasady to stop Carnage. The real meat of the comic is Neely and Kasady and their "conversation in the comic. It has a little bit of tension as you're left wondering what Kasady will do to Neely, and there's even a couple of humorous moments too. But it gets dragged down with some exposition that's somewhat necessary but feels like it should've been introduced earlier in the series to inform readers. But the end leaves on an interesting note as more mayhem is bound to follow. Read Full Review

Paknadel takes over for V here, and honestly, the comic becomes more accessible as a result. Maybe that's just speaking to my own lack of intelligence, but the verbosity with which the series once presented itself was too much, given its contents. Paknadel tries to retain some of that voice though, and does a pretty good job. I couldn't tell you which way the story is headed, but I hope it's good.

This was good and definitely lived up to the title of carnage but I did notice that ram v wasn't writing it. The writing was really good I'm just a huge fan of ram v and his style and I missed it. That being said still a good book that advances the story well

I'm going to preface this review by saying that, as of this writing, I have not read the previous 10 issues of Carnage under Ram V. I'm getting into this for the Carnage Reigns crossover coming up, so I thought the writer change might be a good place to start for this series. While it definitely feels like I'm jumping into a story part-way, it also feels like the start of a new story. I plan on reading the previous 10 issues eventually, but these are my thoughts for now. This was a pretty solid and entertaining read, even without reading those aforementioned issues. I think Paknadel has a solid voice for Cletus, and I enjoyed how he wrote his interactions with Ken. Antonio provided some good art here as well. Funny enough, I don't really ha ve that much to say about this other than that I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading more. more

It feels very momentous despite not advancing the plot much. This issue teases a lot, but most of what it clearly explains is just continuity recap. The art, as usual, is dynamic and well-blocked but short of detail and hard to follow in the action moments. For all those faults, this might be my favorite issue of the volume to date. Cletus Kasady is the puzzle piece that's been missing all this time, and I am floored by how creepily engaging his voice is here. The best thing about this might be the elegant way Kenneth's murder-mentor relationship segues from Carnage to Cletus. And the Carnage/Shayde relationship closely paralleling it is also a good thing. Alex Paknadel already won me over with just a few issues of Red Goblin; his arrival on this title strikes me as an entirely good thing. more
