Oct 24, 2012This issue of Captain America excels at being both an end to an amazing run, and a launching point for the character into new adventures. For a new reader picking up this book, it doesn't feel like an end, so much as a beginning, and an exciting one at that. I want to commend and thank Ed Brubaker for a truly amazing run on a book that I have adored for many years, and will continue to read and re-read for many more. Read Full Review

Oct 25, 2012Issue #19 of Captain America is phenomenal. Ed Brubaker ends his legendary run beautifully, leaving you feeling satisfied and depressed at the same time. Steve Epting is the perfect artist to end this run and Frank DArmatas colors are impeccable. Its very hard to say goodbye. This is by far one of the greatest runs on a superhero book of this generation. I will never forget the feeling of immense gratification after reading his first issue of Cap. Thank you, Ed Brubaker. Thank you so much for working so hard on a character we love so much. The adventures of Steve Rogers will not be the same without you. Read Full Review

Nobody in the foreseeable future will be able to touch what Ed Brubaker has done here. It’s a staggering run from a man of staggering talent. Read Full Review
