Overall, this was a very well written mini that took a look into one of Marvel's crazier characters and managed to make him sympathetic and change his status quo in a way that could stick if they choose to keep it. All in all while Axis Carnage #3 had a good ending and great drawings the issue felt a bit rushed. This needed to be a bit longer to avoid that rushed feeling. It's still a fun read so I do suggest giving it a read. Axis Carnage was funny and a big bright spot in the Axis event. Read Full Review

An extremely funny and hugely entertaining limited series comes to an okay conclusion. The visuals are still a blast and there's a decent laugh or two along the way, but the theme doesn't really resonate and it feels like a pretty basic way to wrap things up for this story. If you enjoyed the previous two chapters, you owe it to yourself to see how this all comes to an end; just don't expect to love it nearly as much as the other issues. I guess I just hoped for more from this concept. A mentally wrecked, serial killing hillbilly who has a new well-meaning outlook on life, skewing the world's attempts to kill or bring him to justice as some sort of test of his heroism, is great. But this mini just didn't feel like it took the concept far enough.With a bit more edge and a stronger voice, Kassady has an interesting status quo moving forward, but the journey there should be best forgotten.
