If the first few issues of A+X were a bit rocky and uneven, these most recent two chapters have been milking the team-up concept for all its worth. Read Full Review

If you want a little break from the serious and emotionally compelling titles, this issue is absolutely worth purchasing. It's a short read that'll relentlessly tickle your funny bone and massage your eyes with it's delightfully unique and vivid panels. Plus, it has Doop. Everyone loves Doop, yes? Read Full Review

This issue of A+X might be a little too out there for some people. But if you haven't been taking the series too seriously, you'll probably still enjoy it. Read Full Review

Though this issue is undeniably fun, it's still a lot of money for two 10-page short stories that are, by their own admission, of no consequence, except as a good time. But when they hit like these two do, they are indeed a very good time, and better than many of the more "important" comics I read on a weekly basis. If "A+X" can continue delivering creative teams and short comics of this caliber I may have to keep reading despite the price tag. Your move, Marvel. Read Full Review

Both of these were a fun read but for two short stories that both would have felt better longer I think Marvel needs to reconsider how they are doing this format. Read Full Review

Loki/Mister Sinister gets 2/5, because it was just incomplete. If this was a full-length issue, it would have scored much higher. Read Full Review

    Geeks Unleashed - Christopher Romero

The characters are awkward in their dialogue and the story's ending is confusing. I just don't see how a cliffhanger fits into such a short story. The art for this snippet, however, is pretty cool, particularly the depictions of Doom's frightening unfinished science experiments. A+X #5 is a solid read, but still not good enough to justify the four dollar price tag. Read Full Review

That second story made this comic SO worth it!! Everything about it was genius! The reason for the "team-up", if you can call it that, the actions of everybody involved, the outcome, it was all perfect! Even the set-up, with Doom wanting to outdo Reed! Genius!! And Loki deciding, correctly, that Sinister was the lesser of two evils was great! Plus I loved Sinister's thoughts on Doom... It just seemed like the kind of snobbery Sinister would think. Seriously, I loved that story! Unfortunately, there were two stories in this comic, and the first one was horrendous... Read Full Review
