Dec 17, 2012A+X #3 was pretty good, surprisingly good, in fact. I like the concept of this book and both stories were a nice read. Overall, I give this issue a recommendation. Read Full Review

Dec 21, 2012Next up is Gambit & Hawkeye. My wish for James Asmus to write Gambit wherever he appears might be coming true as he nails the character once again. However, there's some disconnect between the Hawkeye in this issue and the Hawkeye in his own series, though that might be just to have Hawkeye act as a foil to Gambit's character. The Gambit/Hawkeye short is definitely the stronger of the two in this weeks issue, though it still suffers from the samepredictabilitythat the series has been showing. Two good guys bump into each other, banter a bit, but eventually come together to defeat the somewhat generic foe of the story. Read Full Review

Dec 19, 2012Fans of Black Panther and Storm and/or Ferry's art will want to check out this issue, but the $3.99 cover price may be asking too much of everyone else. Read Full Review

Dec 19, 2012This issue takes a hit because the second story is so lacking. The first one might have been worth the price of admission had it actually been a full-on one shot but I'm hard pressed to want to plunk down hard earned cash on something that's so inconsistent. Still, it's nice to see these characters outside of their solo books or their typical team settings and for fans of whichever characters are featured month in and month out, A+X might be a decent way to get your fix. Dec 20, 2012Oh well, time to leave Wonderland once again. Until next month then, and hopefully the return of the real Geoff, who is sure to give me a piece of his mind for my misrepresentation of his character, I bid you all a fond adieu. Read Full Review

Dec 25, 2012It's not a bad issue for a comic series - but it's not compelling or sharp enough to demand our attention. Read Full Review

Dec 19, 2012"A+X" #3 has some fun moments but it's certainly nowhere near warranting a $3.99 price point. This sort of thing is exactly what 99c digital sales were made for. It's a shame to see Jason Aaron drop the ball with a character he's used brilliantly in the past, but it's nice to see James Asmus drop a very cool tale that will hopefully get the eyes it deserves. The concept of this book is better than I imagined but the execution is lacking in this installment. Read Full Review
