Another fun issue. Thor realizes that the King Dwarf can unmake his hammer. This seemed out of character for him, but he changes back to Donald Blake for no reason than to hide. Not sure about that part, but the rest was good with the team confronting the lava men and Cap enticing The King Dwarf to throw the hammer which ultimately found its way back to Thor. Kang makes a quick appearance which will follow up in the next issue.

A perfect pace and outstanding art make the story of Sindri's downfall smooth and fun to read. I particularly like that the heroes come up with some clever ideas and the creators make the implementation of those ideas appealing.
Again as in #1, the creators are inconsistent about the Thor/Blake/Mjolnir rules. And also again, they're inconsistent in the same way the original Silver Age creators were, so I'm cool with it.

The pacing of this miniseries is very odd. The title and set up in issue one would make you think this is a Kang story (and it is) but the majority of the series has had Kang sit on the sidelines, so for him to finally make his move now just feels a bit jarring. The comic, otherwise, continues to hit right at that nostalgia we all have for that original 60s iteration of Marvel, while not forcing us to read a novel's worth of words about what's happening on the page.
