Chuck's Comic Of The Day - Chuck

I could quibble with a few story points, and a key player's involvement seems to contradict an ongoing story in Thor's comic, but this issue is so much fun that I can't fault it for these minor problems - any reader would easily earn a No-prize explaining these things away (if they still gave out No-prizes). Bendis' story and character work would be fun on its own, but with Davis on his side, this comic is THE Avengers title to pick up. Too bad it's only a miniseries. Read Full Review

Despite the odd and problematic reveal at the end of the issue, "Avengers Prime" #2 is a fun, entertaining issue with a fantastic creative team all working in harmony. This is how superhero comics are done and it's a shame that issues only come out every two months. Read Full Review

The series is aggravating in the sense that it's slow, but the dialogue can be really good, and then you have Davis illustrating the crap out of the script. The artwork is never boring, and this issue shows an improvement in the script to keep you engaged and entertained. Read Full Review

    Comic Book Revolution - Rokk

Avengers Prime #2 is not worth the $3.99 cover price. There are far superior titles out there at the $2.99 price let alone at $3.99. I would only recommend Avengers Prime #2 to die-hard Bendis fans and to die-hard Avengers fans. I would recommend to everyone else to pass on Avengers Prime #2. Save your money and go buy an issue of Hawkeye and Mockingbird instead which at $2.99 is superior in terms of content and price. Read Full Review
