Black Nerd Problems - Brandon Lawrence

We're met at the onset by ages of former Ghost Riders. This opening spread is fantastic; littered with Spirits of Vengeance from various decades. There's 1950's Madmen Ghost Rider. Circus Ringleader Ghost Rider? Great Depression era newsboy with a baseball bat Ghost Rider. Oh shit! Is Ghost Rider wearing a turban? AIPT - Christopher Franey

I can't wait for next issue's conclusion and to see how this all shakes out and leads to the new Ghost Rider series. This issue really did a great job of moving the story along and also peeling back the curtain to get us wondering who the villain will be. Read Full Review

Specific details with the background aside, this issue is the Avengers fending-off a threat against...themselves. A cool as the combat is, its not the sort of triumphant defense of the earth, the universe and more. That has made for some of the better stories history of the team. Hopefully, with this issue behind them, the team can start to focus on the actual business of protecting the earth.  Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Matt Meyer

Avengers #24 provides yet another superficial installment of writer Jason Aaron's run, underwhelming with a few cool fan service moments sprinkled throughout. If you've been waiting for this book to pick up steam... this isn't the issue for you. Read Full Review
