Chuck's Comic Of The Day - Chuck
Apr 07, 2018It's not an easy "read" so far, but it's been a bit of fun. But it's definitely time to bring it all home. Like, preferably next issue. Read Full Review

Apr 05, 2018AVENGERS #687 is an issue that catches its breath and allows characters to interact on deep and emotional levels. The writing team delivers heavy dialogue while the art team displays everything wonderfully. Read Full Review

Apr 04, 2018Avengers #687 relies on recharging, checking in, and adjusting. Janet Van Dyne steps up and reminds readers why she is one of the most beloved Avengers and just how confident a character she is. Her conversation with Voyager makes sense, feels right, and gives readers a chance to look at this wide assemblage of costumed characters as a real team once again. With the pause in fisticuffs and explosions, Avengers #687 feels like a huge gasp before the final sprint in the No Surrender marathon. The finish line is in sight. Now its time to really pour it on. Graphic Policy - Brett
Apr 04, 2018Another solid chapter of an event that has delivered again and again. We're moving towards that end game and it should be any moment before all of the Avengers come together to fight the bad guy. Even with that common ending, I'm expecting this story has something up its sleeve. So far so good as this is an event that hasn't disappointed yet. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze
Apr 04, 2018Avengers #687 was another great issue where the character writing stood out more than anything else. An event story never has to be one big action to the next. The story is worthwhile when every action has a response and reaction such as what these heroes and Voyager did. Having a moment to sort trough your feelings never hurts in the longrun. SciFiPulse - Patrick Hayes
Apr 21, 2018In a collection this might be more entertaining, but looked at on its own, this issue of exposition reveals information that the reader already knows. Unless something is teased that becomes a major plot point in later issues, this could be skipped and not much missed. Read Full Review

Apr 04, 2018It's okay, but not on par with what we've seen from this creative team most recently. The story's spinning its wheels about before the big finale. Read Full Review

ComicBook.com - Jamie Lovett
Apr 04, 2018Its all executed well enough, and in the grand scheme of things, this breather of an issue is necessary to reset the board for the final act of "No Surrender", but it's also not the most memorable chapter of the saga. Read Full Review

Apr 07, 2018This issue feels like a quick breather for the series ahead of the big final battle, which is a shame as the last few issues have been really good. It might not be the most action packed issue, but it does what it needs to. Read Full Review
