While a few nagging flaws hold this issue back slightly (the flawed coloring, the generally rushed pacing), it does it part to flesh out Peter Parker's new status quo and reassure readers concerned about the character sliding back into old routines. Spider-Man is in a place thats hard for anyone to hate. Slott isnt relying heavily on gimmicks, which should please purists, but his personal life is as cutting edge as ever. From his costume to his villains, theres a certain iconic quality to Spider-Man that isnt likely to change, but Peter Parker is in constant flux. Its why hes the most relatable Marvel hero, and his current stories are an indication that isnt changing. Read Full Review

More like the "Rise After the Fall of Parker." Peter has the girl, lands the job, saves a coworker, frees a slave, and makes the Bugle's deadline with no problem. Another step in the right direction for Peter. Hopefully nothing brings him down... Venom Inc.... *cough cough*...

"The Fall of Parker" ends on an upbeat note, as things actually seem to be going okay for Pete, despite circumstances. He and Bobby are a fun team (even if their banter was on the edge of being too much for me), and its nice to see Pete happy in a way he didn't seem to be in the weird Tony Stark/Parker era. Plus, Stuart Immonen is awesome, so this continues to be one of my favourite titles of late.

I am really enjoying the relationship between Peter and Bobbi. Its very cute. Hope this relationship lasts for a longer time unlike the previous ones.

Another solid entry in the Amazing legacy arc. I was really disappointed about Peter losing his company, but hes back on the right track with at least somewhat of a new job for him. Great art from Immonen as always.

Decent story and I am really enjoying where Peter Parker is right now as it feels much more like the real Spider-Man. Art was stunning as always, but the biggest drawback here is some of Mockingbird's dialogue. Careful reading that.

Pete's first assignment as the Bugle's science editor *of course* turns into a mystery requiring Spidey/Mockingbird investigation. It's a satisfying (albeit silly) one-shot that has gratifying connections to several of the title's supporting cast members. Once again it feel likes Dan Slott is actually investing effort into the "Legacy" banner and making this feel like super-early Spidey - this script's tone matches the best of the Conway/Andru years. (Lee/Ditko? Hey, let's not push it.) Stuart Immonen's art is entertaining and not at all bad, but there are several missed opportunities that oh-so-slightly suggest he's delivering less than his best here. "Immonen on cruise control" is still a formidable visual performance.
