  (Cover Date: June, 1969) Summary: Based on information provided by Capt. Stacy, Spidey goes to the Shocker's girlfriend's apartment, where he finds the Maggia's Man-Mountain Marko looking for the clay tablet. They get into a brawl. While Spidey is knocked down, Marko drops the woman out of a window, forcing Spidey to save her, while he escapes with the tablet. Marko delivers the tablet to the Maggia crime boss, Silvermane. Dr. Curt Connors is kidnapped in Florida & is brought in front of Silvermane.
