A-Force #4

If you love relationships between Marvel women that center on compassion and support, you need to read A-Force #4. In this issue in particular, the creative team works together to highlight the connections that drive this series and that have connected these women for many years. For this arc though, there's no doubt this creative team is at the top of their game. The action-to-dialog balance was perfect and the emotional tenor was strong. This is pretty much everything you could ask for in a superhero comic. My recommendation is that you should buy two, one for you and one for your best girlfriend. Read Full Review

I really hope they explain how Dazzler survived but a great end to the opening arc. The team came together fluidly and it didn’t feel forced. I like Singularity and I hope to see more of her in the future. Unfortunately it looks like Antimatter survived as well. He was good as an antagonist for one arc but I hope he doesn’t return for that long because he will get old

This installment had a good amount going on. We see where the series wants to go forward, as well as how the characters will interact. Some past moments for the characters are brought forward to tie the series in. The art is enjoyable and gives everyone a distinct look. It is written very well. This is one of the strong moments for the series.

Wanted more to comment on another review. Dazzler has the ability to resurrect since New Excalibur in 2007 but it wasn't resolved so kudos to the writing team for picking that up

I...don't know what to think here, it wasn't a bad conclusion to the arc, but Dazzler just...popping back to life after one issue, after they did that whole: "Oh No, Dazzler is dead, have pathos and stuff." and really, given Marvel's current policy towards Mutants, it was actually believable. So...on the one hand I'm happy she didn't die and it seems there actually is reason and story behind it, but on the other hand, it felt kind of cheap.

The story is ok, but the art is appalling. Why are the characters drawn to be butch and ugly?
