But Why Tho? - William Tucker
Jun 24, 2020Rescue 2020 #2 is a beautiful tie-in. The creative team has successfully allowed Rescue to have her own identity within this crossover. Schwartz has made sure that her personality is distinct, while Burrows, Hanna, and Pantazis created a beautiful suit of armor. This tie-in also appears to have a direct impact on the event as a whole, and Im looking forward to seeing what Pepper does going forward. Read Full Review

Jun 28, 2020Rescue 2020 #2 is a pretty solid read. Dana Schwartz humanizes characters we many have no interest in and fleshes Pepper out in wonderful ways. This was a pretty good issue that was clearly being affected by the page limits of a two issue miniseries. The ending was just rolling by the end there. I don't know if I made it known in my last review, but I remember thinking that this wasn't going to matter, but I'm thinking it might matter now. That tag for Iron Man 2020 #5 gave me hope, I guess. This may be one of the better tie-in series to the Iron Man 2020 event.
