Mar 28, 2023The many different storylines weaving throughout this volume makes this one of the most fast-paced of the series thus far. I'm on the hook with Coco and Tartah trying to do what's right for their friend, but having all of their good intentions twisted and fall apart. My heart hurts for Agott and her quest for her mother's love, and this new twist with the prince and Tetia makes that storyline also feel high-stakes. There is a lot of action and moving plot, but everything is also getting more intense and in need of some resolutions, but Shirahama will probably keep building into the next volumes instead. Anime UK News - Sarah
Jul 07, 2024As I look back over these three volumes of Witch Hat Atelier, an announcement/presentation is about to be made at AX 2024 about the long-awaited anime series (update: it's scheduled for 2025!). Im not sure how well an animated version will be able to bring out the intricacy and detail of Kamome Shirahamas storytelling and unique art, although the preview trailer looks very impressive. The anime version will be different, thats for sure but I suspect Ill still love the manga first and foremost; I really recommend reading it before watching the anime (whensoever it eventually airs)!
