Void Rivals #18 takes the connections made between Cybertron and Sacred Rings to take the intrigue of its narrative to another level. That next level creates even greater intrigue in finding out what the next moves of Darak, Solila, and the entire cast of this series will be. VOID RIVALS #18 delivers two hugely intriguing developments, surrounded by several subplots that are less so. Robert Kirkman's script does a fine job juggling assorted plot threads to keep them present and moving in the same direction. However, several lesser threads feel unimportant and read like so much filler, resulting in an uneven issue. Read Full Review

I'm glad this book is going on break. This story wasn't meant to go on for this long. It's lost gas entirely. If this book goes beyond issue 24, it's going to be dragging a dead corpse along by a horse with a heart murmur. Let's see what Kirkman does with it. It's a good book, I hope it closes up well.
