Universal Monsters: Phantom of the Opera #2 takes the story to the next level and builds up the jolted lover angle as well. This artwork in this book is hauntingly beautiful and immerses the reader in this world. Well, the story takes you on a journey through darkness and beauty. This is a wonderful series and should be on the top of everyone’s list at the shop this week. This is my Pick of the Week and should be yours too! Read Full Review

Universal Monsters: The Phantom of the Opera #2 is a masterclass in atmospheric horror that earns its place on any serious pull list through sheer visual audacity. The breathtakingly macabre art and grounded character work ensure every page drips with genuine tension. Minor pacing hiccups and thin side characters are the only small blemishes on an otherwise stellar production. Ultimately, this issue proves that some ghosts are worth chasing, offering a deeply rewarding experience for anyone who values substance over surface-level jumpscares. Does this comic earn a place in a limited budget? Absolutely. Read Full Review
