Dec 05, 2018After consecutive issues with no zombies, The Walking Dead reminds its readers that it is set in a post-apocalyptic and often barbaric world where anything can happen at any time. And yet, the evolution of the series continues in a welcome, refreshing manner. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Nikko Soto
Dec 08, 2018It'll be interesting to see how the conflict is handled in later issues. I hope it doesn't lead to another war. At this point, I think the comic has overstayed its welcome. It would be interesting to see more communities coming together and rebuilding society a bit more. There could still be conflict and even wars, but the fact that every new community they meet seems to be evil is getting old. The series suffers from having been around since 2003. I'm just not sure how much more story there's left to tell. Read Full Review

Well, this issue was a shocker... ***Heavy Spoilers*** ahead It will be fairly difficult to discuss this issue trying to avoid the elephant in the group. Rick Grimes has to make a decision in the moment and kills Dwight to avoid going to war with the Commonwealth. It's an ugly decision that seems to be a waste of a life and could have ultimately been avoided. I started reading The Walking Dead around the time the Commonwealth was introduced so I doubt I can really appreciate the impact of this death. Since Dwight/Darryl are essentially the same characters I would imagine that this would be the equivalent of Darryl being killed off on the show. Not sure where the story is going but Dwight may end up being the straw that breaks the more

This issue was really frustrating. Michonne is acting irrationally while acting like everyone else is. And that gets a cool character like Dwight killed. Because she believed in a system that was obviously not what it seemed. Skeptical Michonne is dead. After months and months of wheel spinning and character "development", we get this. And they act like it's more complicated an issue than it truly is. It's not. What needs to be done is. Michonne should be on Rick's side. But I guess not.
