Sep 13, 2017And so, with our appetites whetted with such a heartwarming ending for Rose and Drucilla on the verge of making a significant impact to the Rebellion, we must now take a break as we fret over the fate of our heroes. I for one am not sure I can last the distance until the next issue, but as least we know the trade paperback can tide us over until we see a new blossom shine forth with the coming New Year. Sep 13, 2017Overall, I found this to be an exciting and engaging end to the first story arc. I'm looking forward to seeing how the aftermath of the battle with unfold and what steps Drucilla will take next, and whether she will go ahead with the threats she has made. Grab a copy ASAP and prepare for battle! Read Full Review

Sep 12, 2017Rose # 6 is a bit of a low key end to the series' first arc, which could have benefitted from a big action set piece, and it also feels a bit familiar in its story beats. However, its focus on establishing new relationships and fresh jeopardy means Rose #6 is still a satisfying read for fans of the series. Where this issue stumbles just a bit is in its emphasis on the characters discussing their dilemmas as opposed to the actions they take to solve them. Still, even with my desire for a little less conversation and a little more action, Rose #6 is by no means a bad or unenjoyable issue. Read Full Review

Sep 15, 2017Ultimately, issue five served as a stronger climax to the initial arc with Rose uniting with her Khatz and issue six felt like the beginning of the second arc. Fans of the series will enjoy the character development but may see this issue as more of a bridge toward the next big event. Newcomers should begin at issue one to fully appreciate the direction the series is going. Read Full Review
