Revival #15

I can't say enough about how much this series continues to wow me month after month whether it be the brilliant storytelling, the incredible art, or just how refreshing this book is to read. The only thing I can critique this month are two typos, one of them being: ""who lets you smoke weed all day"" Hey Image, need any more editors? But seriously, go pick this book up if you've thought about or have taken Revival off your pull list. Perhaps there have been less followers of it because it's getting up in the double-digits. This issue really cracks down on the nooks and crannies of what it takes to build some real suspense throughout this “rural noir”. Spite the occasional unnecessary third plot from time to time Tim Seely keeps giving the reader consistent quality story telling from beginning to end (though he claimed his first volume to be sort of like his “first season” in a way) while teasing that the real fun has yet to come. And behind every great story teller there's an even greater artist in Mike Norton who is able to depict with a simplistic yet refined detail Seely's tension and predominately character driven story telling making his art style a perfect fit for the job. So keep an eye out for this title because it will take this creative duo places before you even know it. Read Full Review

If you love murder mysteries, then readers are going to get a kick out of “Revival” #15. Dark and humorous, the “Revival” series takes an interesting premise and presents a slick look at crime with zombies. Read Full Review

A little slow, it's another plot builder. Mike Norton's art is just fantastic, I think it's gotten even better, the characters show such great expressions.
