I really enjoy the art, it looks like a unique style that literally is popping off the pages. I like how distinct and stylistic it is, its so different than any other art I have seen. There is a lot of dark shading within each characters looks. The dialogue is also very short, but it gets to the point to what is happening in each comic panel. Read Full Review

For those who are desperate to jump into the Spawn-Universe, Misery #1 is certainly one way to do it that won't leave readers confused. But, it's handling of subjects like sexual assault and domestic violence is troubling and cheap, which overshadows any of the good things about this issue. Read Full Review

A series centered around Cyan certainly has its appeal. The art was solid. The two main scenes, the fight with her dad and the attempted assault are both very overused plot devices and weren't great, but I'm definitely still interested in where this goes.

From the first issue, the plot of the series reminded of a spin-off about Sam and Twitch with a touch of the supernatural. So far, it's 3+, but it will work for the collection.
