  "King Spawn #19" delivers a refreshing take on the series with a coherent storyline that dives deep into detective noir territory. The interaction between Sam and Twitch is nothing short of brilliant, with their banter adding depth and charm to the narrative. While fans might yearn for more of Spawn himself, his limited appearance in this issue is strategically executed, serving the new storyline well. In this issue, Spawn's portrayal echoes the brooding, tactical nature of Batman, which adds an intriguing layer to his character. The art style is commendable; it perfectly complements the dark, atmospheric setting of the comic, with the panels flowing smoothly from one to the next, enhancing the reading experience. The visuals match the t one of the story, making every page turn feel like a step deeper into a mystery. This issue has certainly piqued my interest enough to hunt down the back issues. "King Spawn #19" proves once again that great comics are worth the read, even if it means catching up late. Highly recommended for fans of both Spawn and detective noir genres. more

  *WHY have the "critics" on here stopped reviewing the Spawn titles?* Great to see the return of Sam & Twitch in this issue, the start of a new story arc. King Spawn has been quality since it started. I recommend the series.
