The story is still very simple and for as much as I enjoyed it, there's still that one scenario that I wish played out better. This is also by far the least weird issue of the series but fans will still find a lot to enjoy and new readers should still give this a go to find interest in grabbing early issues in trade. This issue instantly became my favorite of this series. I really enjoyed reading the Spanish, at first though I thought I bought the wrong copy in a different language lol Anyways really enjoyed the story and the art work is always amazing. I am so obsessed with Ice Cream man, I am trying to collect every issue. And this one had me wanting more.

The developing backstory to the conflict between Rick and Caleb is certainly a welcome and interesting premise. The story telling and central ideas behind the horror of the comic would eventually stale without an overarching narrative to drive the plot forward. Sure, we love to watch normal people with normal people problems experience supernatural difficulty but how long could that really last?

I think this story by flew by too quick. I wasnt able to read half of it which is probably why but, there was something to be learned by not being able to read the words but see it being played out. I thought this was a good issue but, it just seemed to be missing something and like the guy said in the other comment, it seems they are getting too involved in the bigger picture when the real selling point is in the individual stories.

This was okay. I'm starting to lose interest in this series. It was so very cool early on but it seems to have lost itself in telling a grander story.

I think this was a solid story that was missing a bit of that something extra that made the first issues really exciting. This issue wasn't bad, but it wasn't special either.
