    Comic Bastards - Nick Philpott

Don't let that happen. Buy this book. Buy two copies. Buy one for your mom. She'll probably like it, aside from all the swearing. (Maybe with the swearing? I don't know what your mom is into these days). Read Full Review

We The Nerdy - Josh McCullough

    Oct 06, 2014

So to conclude in a highly serious, professional manner the newest issue of God Hates Astronauts manages to be even funnier and more bizarre than the first. If you want to simply shut off your brain and laugh yourself silly then this is a book Id highly recommend. If you think youre above this sort of thing however or look down upon random humour or fun then good news! Downtown Abbey has just restarted this week which should be right up your alley! The GHA website says Browne's book, previously an immensly popular webcomic, is "The best comic money can't buy". I would say that now it's the funniest comic money CAN buy and, one that should be bought. Read Full Review

This is yet another hilarious issue, but it's a lot of what we saw in the first issue — just a bit more odd. We get to see more of Browne's abstract universe, but the material isn't as entertaining as issue one's battle. Maybe next week we'll get to see more Star Grass in action. Read Full Review

One of the more original books of the year has the difficult task of following an outrageous first issue, and it doesn't alway live up to the task. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen

I like to think of God Hates Astronauts as the adults-only version of Axe Cop. It has the same stream-of-consciousness storytelling and endlessly bizarre plot twists and characters, just with a lot more violence and cursing. Read Full Review

    Unleash The Fanboy - Edward

    Sep 30, 2014

In short, I still enjoy this issue, but it feels as if its lost some of the momentum the first had. I don't know whether this is a deliberate emphasis on creating a bigger world or jumping from point-to-point, but I can't help feel it's gone off track a little bit. Still, don't let that stop you picking it up and giving it a go. Read Full Review
