Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson
Jun 07, 2017Extremity is one of the best comic books being published right now period. Daniel Warren Johnson has done an incredible job of getting the reader emotional attached to these characters in these few issues, it is really a great credit to his skills as a creator. It is very hard to get this level of “reader involvement” with characters and story within an issue or two and Johnson will have you fully invested after the first issue and he continues to draw you deeper in with issue #4. The art is absolutely gorgeous, with Johnson great pencil and inking work along with Spicer magnificent colors Extremity is a joy to look at. If you are not reading this series you are certainly missing out on one great comic book, do yourself a favor and pick this up now! Read Full Review

The GCRN - Daniel Clark
Jun 09, 2017Extremity has grown into quite the comic in these first few issues. At first it seemed like another Science Fiction/Fantasy mash up that would be full of joyous adventure and larger than life characters. With this issue it has developed beyond that and is actually trying to say something important. Looking at the best new series of this year this is certainly on the list. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze
Jun 07, 2017By the end of this issue it was easy to get consumed in the path Thea and Jerome have taken against the Paznina. This allowed us to be caught off guard and open to the fact that there is more than one path to take in this story. The weight of war and hate weighs on more than those two, and more than those two can b negatively affected in the process. Extremity #4 went the distance to reinforce what we were in store for when these characters fear what will be sacrificed for the sake of taking down the Paznina. Read Full Review

Jun 08, 2017It's an interesting exploration of how guilt and anger can warp perception, and one Johnson seems to get a better handle on with each passing issue. Add in another kinetic round of thundering visuals and Extremity continues its hot streak. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Patrick Wolf
Jun 07, 2017Despite these technicalities, I still find Extremity #4 to be very enjoyable. Johnson is both and excellent artist and writer, and I can't wait to see more from him. While I'd like some more plot twists, the story is only four issues in, so it's not really a problem right now. In that end, Extremity is an awesome series and certainly should be added to the reading list of anyone who's a fan of gritty, post-apocalyptic adventures. Read Full Review
