AIPT - Ken Petti
Apr 05, 2017Extremity #2 is probably one of the best second issues of a comic book I've read. It doesn't feel like a lull or a pause because Johnson makes everything that happens interesting and seem important Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Forrest Hollingsworth
Apr 05, 2017I’m warry of spoiling too much, but if Hyper Light Drifter-equse soldiers, massive space beasts and animal-armored warlords are your thing, you can’t afford to miss Extremity. Read Full Review

Comic Book Corps - Tim Montoya
Apr 04, 2017Overall Extremity is a fun read, with high emotions, action, and intrigue. Managing to give good characterizations in just two books, while telling a compelling story is always impressive. With this issues ending I am genuinely looking forward to #3 to see where it takes us. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Repairman Jack
Apr 08, 2017Great world building and characterization takes the place of blood and action in what comes in a very quick read. Although I'm a little down on it from the first issue due to not much actually happening, I still really enjoy the read as it feels full of meaning and purpose. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze
Apr 05, 2017I think the letter at the end of the issue said it better than I could have as Extremity continues as a shining example of the heart and clear perspective which pulled me in to a number of Skybound titles. This story goes well beyond the action of seeking vengeance. Even as I use that word quite often, these past two issues have given us so much more that breathes life into this world and those who inhabit it. Read Full Review

IGN - Jeff Lake
Apr 06, 2017It's still an absurdly pretty book, with the aforementioned Shiloh making one heck of a memorable entrance; it just doesn't register on quite the same emotional level. Read Full Review

Another extremely solid issue. We get a little bit more world building in this issue taking a slower look at how the Roto clan survives in the world and starts to set up the major conflict ahead! The art is stunning as it was in issue 1! I really think this book will be something special! Can't wait till next month!

I'm really liking where this issue is taking the series. I'm not quite sure of the nature of their new "ally", but I'm rather interested in learning more about 'em. I'd definitely recommend this book!

I wouldn't say that this reaches the same heights as the first issue, but now the plot is starting to kick in and I get the sense that no one is going to walk away from this story as a winner. We're in for some rocky seas. The additional fantasy elements introduced in this issue are also quite promising, and this weird robot thing will serve well as a vehicle to explain how this world works to the audience.

A quality issue pointing toward good things. Some awkward pacing, like when the bot is awakened. Some clean art. I recognized most of the beats, and I hope the book goes forward with more surprise.
