I enjoyed this. The writer is taking an approach where you are funneled into the story with little prep and have to figure your way around things. Demands multiple reads and close examination of the amazing art. Which does a lot to carry the book ill admit. Still, this is worth picking up.

Te energy from the first issue continues. The story had just enough historical background to be believable and there's enough of it being dramatized to keep interest. Reminds me a bit of the 300 comic.

Pretty good story beat this monthly format is damaging the enjoyment overall. The story feel randomly truncated without giving any pay off.

More of the same. It's a stupid story set in an entertaining time in history. Even in the Roman days, you needed one woman in a group of hundreds of men to set them straight and call them out for being cowards. This is how it would really go. Woman: You are all being cowards! Roman officer: Smack!!! That would be the whole story if it was historically accurate. I'm not saying that is how the story should have been, but come on. How about a little realism?
