One of the tricks of this book is that both of the trails of the plot end up with Juniper's liberation. Juniper in Cason's body is finally being treated well. Juniper's body, with Cason driving, if finally handing out satisfying vengeance. I'm sure the story won't remain this twisted fairy tale for long, let's see where the Simone/Skaggs team takes us next month. Read Full Review

Simone and Staggs are making one hell of an entertaining comic that preys on our most primal instincts. They challenge our moral makeup as to what constitutes justice and decorum if the shoe was on the other foot. Crosswind is an interesting book. I'm digging it. I am, however, slightly afraid that it won't hold up over subsequent issues. I'm not sure though. It just might. Hopefully. Another thing I'll keep my fingers crossed for is that they bring in someone different to color the book. Because that's a real buzzkill. I honestly would have rated this issue at a 4 or maybe ever a 5 if it weren't for the coloring. I don't know. Read Full Review

When I first read about this series, and it said it's "Freaky Friday" meets "Goodfella's" I was all in! I have not been dissapointed at all so far the 1st 3 issues have been excellent, and with a team like Gail Simone and Catt Staggs you can't go wrong from the art to the writing it all goes perfect together! I highly recommend this book it is has a mob guy and mob violence obviously,and to your lovely housewife who gets treated like crap by her husband and her step son. Things change when these 2 switch bodies. Go pick it up! It's not like anything on the shelves! 1 of the "best books of 2017" from the "Comic Guru"
