Another top notch issue in what is shaping up to be a spectacular series. Continues to excel due complete artistic control by to scarily talented peeps and no attempts to sanitize, broaden the appeal, or dumb down the material.

I will continue to wait patiently for further issues in a series that I firmly expect to be one of the best of my lifetime as a comic reader.

This is not a book to pick up if you have not already been reading Low. However, for those who have, its a hell of a treat. And if you haven't, I'd suggest purchasing the already available early trades, collecting the three previous arcs, as well as the final one when it becomes available in October. Remender is a master storyteller and Low, with its raw emotions and harsh realities, has felt from the beginning like being given a privileged look into the darker portions of his internal psyche. This issue is worth reading for Tajo's monologues alone and it's a perfect capstone for a story three years in the making.

A half angsty angry teen boy drama and half homage to well known moments and tropes surrounding the Justice League.

While a handful of issues prior to the "Days of Anger" story-line were beginning to feel a little thin, Ed and Mike have me fully back on board. This issue has been the most enjoyable yet and I can't wait to get my grubby little paws on the next one!

It will disappoint those who need action in each and every hero book. For many others it will be a perfectly enjoyable read. If you like to see deeper than normal character interactions and their relationships and inner life, it's a winner.

If I could only pick up one DCU offering this month, Suicide Squad #23 is the hands down winner. Despite a decent range of high quality ongoing offerings and a few new exciting books making their debut, not even tough choice. The last time I was this enthralled with a DC comic was Gail Simone's pre-flashpoint Secret Six.

I am at a loss for words with how upsetting this issue was. Suicide Squad has suffered since the announcement of the movie and increasingly so since it's release. The characters are nearly frozen, reverting to a base state after each arc. I expected better with the powerful lead up issues, but got handed a bag full of worst-case resolutions.

Overall a much better read than the last catastrophe and if a reader made it to #24, it's worth snagging a copy. It doesn't fix the damage the last issue inflicted, but it still might provide a small dose of catharsis.
