You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jun 14, 2023Its a more or less seamless extension of the series that was abandoned two decades ago. Madureira and company are picking it up like the last 20 years didnt even happen. Theres an almost heroic level of integrity in that faithfulness to the original series. Its a quick, breezy jaunt from beginning to end. Monika and Garrison return in a thoroughly enjoyable adventure that will hopefully lead to a series that runs much longer than the original one. Madureira and company have firmly resurrected a series that didnt appear to have any chance of ever returning to the comics rack. Read Full Review

Jun 14, 2023It is so much fun to have Battle Chasers back. Ludo Lullabi's illustrations are very fine, and Joe Madureira's script carries the energy that made the original comics so much fun alongside some welcome breathing room for the cast to grow. This is going to be fun to follow. Read Full Review

ComicBook.com - Chase Magnett
Jun 14, 2023Although the story itself is filled with familiar fantasy tropes and the characters all resemble archetypes encountered all too often, Battle Chasers #10 moves too quickly for those tedious elements to detract much from a still-stylish return. Read Full Review

Jun 14, 2023Battle Chasers #10 is frustrating. It isn't the welcome return one would hope and instead feels like a series and project whose time has passed. Like many “classic” series revived, it doesn't stand up so well and the nostalgia isn't quite enough to really hook you. Overall, a bummer. Read Full Review
