Jan 18, 2022I picked this book up without reading any previous Arrowsmith books and must admit, I was slightly perplexed as to the backstory. But this did not detract from my enjoyment of the book in the slightest. It's a fascinating take on an alternate history and the Great War. And add into that magic, dragons and mythical beings and this a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline from Kurt Busiek and will be looking to pick up the back issues so that I can explore this series more. Fans of adventure, magic and alternate universes will thoroughly enjoy this title. Read Full Review
