  Michael Walsh's pencils are great"except for his first scenes with the Turtles. Maybe he was still getting comfortable drawing them, but those panels on the farm in North Hampton are nowhere near the quality of the rest of his work. But aside from that, both Walsh and Brisson should be commended for their work on this one. In big franchise crossovers like this, the best one can usually hope for is for the story to fight and claw its way towards competency while giving the reader a few cool moments to enjoy.   Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell

  This is the strongest segment of Conspiracy yet. Brisson strikes a perfect balance between the two properties and gives us a fun and fast-paced story. These events are all about getting from point A to point B with every issue, and Brisson does that with a little more flair. Read Full Review

  As a huge fan of IDW's TMNT, it's great to see the team step outside its comfort zone. Sure, they're dealing with mutants and aliens in their own book, but the prospect of them interacting with an entirely different franchise is most definitely appealing. While this absolutely feels different than the usual that's going on over in their primary ongoing, there's still a sense of familiarity with how they're written and how the story's handled. Fellow fans of the TMNT run should definitely find this to be a very satisfying stand alone adventure. Whether or not this'll motivate them to keep up with X Conspiracy is a whole different story, though. Read Full Review

  X-Files being X-Files, anything out of the ordinary works and this issue certainty did. I am glad that this is filling my Turtles needs while I'm waiting for the next issue of the ongoing series to pick up again. It is very interesting to see the turtles combined with another supernatural aspect, and I'm so happy that it worked. I would never pick up an issue of X-Files, but from this issue, I'm really interested to see it. By combining some pretty strong titles together, IDW has made a pretty good comic and a very clever promotional step. Read Full Review

  Great concept and execution, and while likely the intent of this series, this issue left me wanting more. Looks like I can't just stop after the City Fall arc, I'll have to actually see how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are faring in New England. I hope IDW never takes their licenses for granted, as of right now they are doing them justice, I pray that it stays that way. Read Full Review

  Florida Geek Scene - Peter Schmeiser

  I must say I love this cross over event. It has captured the feel of new and impossible adventures that has become trivial in the pages of Marvel and DC comics. Their events happen for 8 month out of every year, so we are treated to a cross over for of the year. And since it is not a large leap to see Spiderman and Iron Man hang out; watching agent Mulder talk about the ninja turtles with large Transformers running around seems like it would be a HUGE leap that Evil Knievel couldnt jump. Seeing odd match ups is what makes a comic buy reach for the rack and dive into the adventure. Its why we read comics, to see the impossible. My hats off to IDW and Im looking forward to the rest of this wacky saga. Read Full Review
