With a nice focus on Grimlock and adding in some interesting back and forth with Arko, the issue delivers a sword and sorcery concept with a main character that's a little different than expected. This was a fun but ultimately superficial issue. I agree with Gizmo's review, the art made it really difficult to follow what was going on at times.

There's really no relatable character here, not even Grimlock. On top of that, the artwork does not communicate clearly, so whatever action might have breathed life into the scene is lost.
