The Rocketeer should always be, at it's heart, a fun action story in the vein of swashbuckling adventures. This book is shaping up to be just that. While my only history with the character is the film adaptation, I never felt like I was lost or needed to go back to figure out any other comic backstory. Read Full Review

I think the story and art are a solid 8. However, $4.99 US for only 20 pages of story/art out of a 32-page signature/book knocks this down to a 7 for me.

I liked the first issue a great deal. This one -- not so much. Nothing happened in this one. Cliff realizes that Peev was captured, though there's no way that those jet packs would get from the US to Germany. He asks for help, only to be turned down. He gets a mystious visit and we see Peev in Germany. That's it. Really didn't move the story along at all.
