Unleash The Fanboy - Harrison Rawdin

    Feb 28, 2014

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #31 is an outstanding entry that barely misses the mark on what I would deem as perfection. These four brothers, their father and friends come highly recommended. Read Full Review

This is Max Level Geek's first look into IDW's TMNT series and we are loving what we are seeing. For $3.99, this book is well deserving of your money. The cover alone is worth the price of admission. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Ian Yoxon

All in all I highly suggest anyone who is interested to buy at least this issue if you want to get into the series. It has a lot of good moments that make you connect with these characters and hope for the best for them. Even in the darkest of times. Sure it has a few flaws here and there but it's still a great read. I can't wait to see what happens in the next issue. Read Full Review

Nerds On The Rocks - Josh Raj

    Feb 26, 2014

Overall, TMNT #31 continues in quality and sets the bar higher each month. The story with Leo being a dark ninja may not be completely over, but it was nice to finally see him back in blue and helping his family. Who called for the attack on the turtles and where they will go next are the big question marks at the end of the issue. Read Full Review

    Comic Vine - Gregg Katzman

    Feb 25, 2014

After a couple issues of reflection and insight, the team is shoved back into even more chaos. That said, Waltz does manage to deliver a couple of heartfelt moments before bringing some fast-paced action back into the series' pages . With the addition of some seriously beautiful visuals, a cool new mutant and a massively cheerworthy final page, this yet is another issue that any TMNT fan simply cannot skip. Read Full Review

In short, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #31 was a great read, if a little slow at times, and in one issue, has snagged yet another reader. Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp

    Mar 05, 2014

Other than the first appearance of Koya, who we should be seeing much more of next issue, and April's haircut, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #31 is most notable for Leonardo accepting the blue mask from Splinter and taking his place alongside his brothers yet again. Now we see if Shredder's training, with the abscence of the brainwashing, has made Leonardo a more fierce warrior or if this too will take time. Worth a look. Read Full Review
