All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this issue, and am already chomping at the bit for the next issue. TMNT as a whole is in great hands with IDW, and with the quality seen just in this first year, I'm totally on-board for the long haul. Read Full Review

Winning and enjoyable, if only for its sheer exuberance, and full of heart, too. Read Full Review

Ive said it before and Ill say it again: Man do I love this series! Its excellent and I love the twists and turns that mix in well with all the classic stuff. The writing is great and so is the artwork. Eastman, Waltz, Duncan, and Pattison did a wonderful job. Read Full Review

The issue ends with the foreshadowing of a possible Angel/Casey/April love triangle and April finally officially meeting Splinter and being able to finally thank him for saving his life. We also get the rather inglorious end to Old Hob and the news General Krang is prepared to go ahead with the ominous sounding “Plan B.” Worth a look. Read Full Review

In the hands of this currentcreativeteam, the Teenage MutantNinjaTurtlessuccessfullywrap up their first major story arc. This latest outing may fall victim to some narrative faults but thanks to the art and the overall nature of the story, the battle between the Turtles and the Footcomes to a rip-roaring conclusion. Recommended. Read Full Review

    Geekality - Julius Freeman

The book is on the borderline of cheesy, dull, and tiresome. Seriously? How many times can we see the Turtles fight Shredder and get away without defeating him? Read Full Review

    Comic Book Revolution - Kevin

After a string of solid issues Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #12 is a major step back for the series. With so much anticipation going into the first confrontation between the Turtles, Shredder and the Foot for it to turn out the way it did was disappointed. We are left with no reason for us to think the Shredder and his Foot are dangerous figures. They are now just another villain of the week with nothing special. Hopefully future issues will do a better job building up the Shredder, Foot and other villains the Turtles face in order to help this young series out. Read Full Review
