  Although the story line involves very serious elements, destruction of the universe, death of guardians, the return of Nekron, the destruction of Vulcan and more, this is still a miniseries clearly written for the fans. These five issues have been all about giving the fan boys what they want. It has been a tremendous ride. The next (sixth and final) issue promises to be joyous. Read Full Review

  This series sure knows how to scratch that fanboy crossover itch. Even if the story were nonexistent, the sheer thrill of seeing Federation, Klingon and Romulan starships all locked in an epic space battle with Lantern constructs out the wazoo would be enough to justify this book's existence.   While some may argue that this series has been nothing but setup, I'm having too much time to really care. This issue continues the fun of seeing tons of characters interact with each other (a nicer way of saying, "beat the crap out of each other") and it all leads to the final battle that will be next issue. The art looked fantastic and we get enough cool moments and new characters to recommend this issue to any fan of either franchise. Read Full Review

  Star Trek / Green Lantern #5 continues to be a fun hit for fans of both franchises. Mike Johnson and Angel Hernandez keep the party going as the limited series heads for the home stretch. It'll be sad to say goodbye to this one next month, but for now the story continues to be running on full thrusters. Four out of five lanterns. Read Full Review

  The art shines through when it came to all the action. Angel Hernandez vastly improved from what almost seemed to be a never ending smolder, although still lacking in some of the expression and I still cringe every time I see Larfleeze for the wrong reasons. I have nothing but praise for the colors and the letters. Star Trek/Green Lantern #5 is the strongest issue in the series and was building up to setting up a great third act, but instead it crumbled and went back to its old ways by the end.
