Sep 08, 2015The Seven-Per-Cent Solution is quickly proving itself as a interesting look at how drugs have affected Sherlock Holmes' life, leading to an alternative take on the character's fictitious history. This is developed brilliantly in this issue, with a climax that is bound to leave you returning for more. Read Full Review

Sep 11, 2015Like the last issue, the writing is an adaptation of the original novel, doing a fine job of moving the story along while cutting out descriptive text and leaving scene building to the art. The art is a soft style, with very few hard lines or edges, especially as many scenes take place in low lamp light, enhancing the atmosphere. Read Full Review

Sep 08, 2015Overall the story is sound and the characters good. Unfortunately the plot is not progressing fast enough and the cliffhanger wasn't much of one because we already saw it coming. Read Full Review

Bounding Into Comics - John F. Trent
Sep 08, 2015Nicholas Meyer's Seven-Per-Cent Solution #2 is a definitive improvement from the first issue, although it is still not without its faults. Seeing Holmes in all his detective glory is refreshing and you get sucked into the excitement from the first tug on the leash from Toby. If you are into Sherlock Holmes, this is a fun read that explores a bit of the character's darker side. I imagine the book will only improve from here as a real battle of the minds will begin in the next issue! Read Full Review

Nerd Rock From The Sun - Neil Bason
Sep 09, 2015A second issue plagued by the problems of the first. Sluggish pace, too convenient plot turns and an overall lack of genuine drama or tension have so far made this a read bordering on the tedious. Not without hope but a long way from living up to the expectations I entered with. Read Full Review
