Overall, a very solid issue. The story is developed further along nicely, with the Devonians getting key scenes. The opener with Baragon and Kiryu was fun, and the fight teased on the covers doesn't disappoint. Rulers of Earth is entering its climax, and the fights keep getting better! Read Full Review

Despite the heavy exposition and rising questions regarding the bigger picture, I did enjoy the action and intensity of #11. I would be better satisfied with more of a bigger ticking time bomb master plot that escalates from the smaller monster fights. Nonetheless, G:RoE continues to provide some great Godzilla entertainment. Read Full Review

And as much as I'm knocking the plot, Chris Mowry deserves a lot of credit for choreographing the action sequences so well AND giving us perhaps the coolest opening chapter of the series.Once again, enjoying this book comes down to whether or not the kaiju kick-assery makes reading through the boring side plot stuff worth it. More exposition than most issues, but it seems they're drawing everything together for the big finale to the first twelve issue arc that will happen next issue. The human characters are still far less interesting than the brilliantly choreographed fight scenes, but that's to be expected for a Godzilla series!
