Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time #6

The Tiptons give readers a lesson of why the 6th Doctor dominated in comics. A combination of a strong script and art from the legendary John Ridgway make Prisoners in Time #6 and absolute must get. Over all, this is a good issue of Prisoner Of Time. It mixes the old and new and shows where the series is going, by celebrating as much Doctor Who as possible, something that's difficult to argue against. Read Full Review

Writers Scott and David Tipton give us a very distinctive Doctor, exceedingly arrogant and angry, sniping at his human companion and destroying the monitor from which the Master mocks him. . . $4, 22pgs + 1 pg article. B grade cover, cover stock change? All ADs @ back. . . With the 6th doctor, i enter into strange territory with some concern, but i was surprised to be engaging and enjoyable. i have no attachment to this regeneration, but i find myself attached fairly quickly. The use of Peri and the inclusion of Frobisher is delightful. I am excited to see a bit of the ace in hole develop and a peek at a future Doctor. John Ridgeway's facial work is wonderful here, and the art is enjoyable throughout. i would warn that the panels are bit bare and the colors are simple.
