    Comic Book Bin - Tao Mori

    All in all, it's a charming comic book, in some ways it's not really a big leap from the kind of thing that Doctor Who normally does. Even if you're unfamiliar with Doctor Who, you would like this comic if you like light hearted humour and if you are not big into violence. The violence in Doctor Who is ever so slight, making it appropriate for most ages. Read Full Review

    Besides just giving us a scenario that is deliciously Who-vian, Sturges is masterful at creating authentic dialogue between the Doctor and Amy. The swift repartee and back-and-forth between the two of them is just a perfect recreation of the chemistry from the TV show. Yates does a very faithful reproduction of the two actors and a very good job of placing them into a medieval setting, and we get a lovely Mark Buckingham cover to top everything off. The book is a lot of fun, and a really nice supplement for fans of the Doctor. Read Full Review

    Let me stress: you can do a lot worse than Doctor Who: Fairy Tales #1, and it just might be the ticket for the casual fan, but the faithful Doctor Who watcher just may want to wait for the trade and see if a payoff might excuse the trip down memory lane. Read Full Review
